Parent coaching – sessions to help parents understand why their children might be displaying certain behaviors and to learn specific strategies to deal with those behaviors; creation of treatment plans with goals and timelines; use of positive methods to bring out the best in parents and children
Behavioral work with children – play and problem solving sessions that support children in getting along better with parents, siblings and peers and learning strategies to be less impulsive or emotionally deregulated; use of programs such as Stop, Think and Decide for making better choices
School observations and collaboration with teachers – visits to determine strategies that work best in the classroom for children with difficult behaviors in the school setting
Parenting classes – Playing, Learning, and Exploring (PLE) Infant Class currently taught at the Baby Garten Studio in South Park
